It’s a cloudy start to the week with scattered outbreaks of light rain or drizzle. It will become drier and brighter by afternoon, apart from some isolated showers in the north. It will be cool today with temperatures between 8°C and 12°C. Throughout the day, moderate to fresh, west to northwest winds will veer northwest and north becoming gusty further north.

It will be mainly dry tonight but isolated showers will continue to affect northern coasts. Northwest to north winds will slacken over land and it will turn colder. There will be slight grass frost inland and lowest temperatures of 0°C to 4°C.
