DEBORAH Mouat – a familiar face at Keighley Playhouse – is directing the latest production from Bingley Little Theatre.

Les Liaisons Dangereuses is being performed at Bingley Arts Centre, from June 30 to July 5.

The Olivier-award-winning play is adapted by Christopher Hampton from the 1782 novel, recognised as one of the most scandalous in European literature.

Prime movers in the plot are ex-lovers Vicomte Valmont – played by Utley actor Patrick Thornton – and La Marquise de Merteuil, played by Rachel Conyers, who form an unholy alliance and turn seduction into a game.

Patrick is reprising a role he performed at the George Wood Theatre in London over 25 years ago.

Deborah regularly directs and performs at Keighley Playhouse, where just last month she was directing Thrill of Love.

Les Liaisons Dangereuses has an age guidance of 14-plus.
